The company has modern R&D facilities at our plant in Lake Charles,
Louisiana, and the R&D center located in Austin, Texas, where
high-performance products and processes are developed. All of Sasol North America'
R&D expertise is harnessed to satisfy the needs of our
customers around the world.
Customer relations are based on performance and service reliability.
Our activities include the development of new products and processes
in our laboratories, pilot plant operations and commercial scale
production. Resources are dedicated to innovation in each product
line and manufacturing process allowing for prompt responses to customer needs.
Equally important, our R&D teams provide technical support to
customers with specific application problems. In fact, Sasol's entire
product portfolio is supported by R&D.
Our R&D work also focuses on the environmental impacts of our
products and their applications. Many of these projects are coordinated
with local, national and international research institutions.
